JAS-ANZ
The JAS-ANZ Register helps you to locate Certified Organisations, Accredited Bodies (CABs), or Certified Personnel and in doing so, also satisfies part of the JAS-ANZ risk management strategy by assisting in identifying organisations that hold authentic JAS-ANZ accredited certificates. If a certificate is not included on the register, the certificate should not be considered as valid and should be questioned by the recipient of the certificate. Note that the Certified Organisations database provides information on valid JAS-ANZ accredited certificate holders.
There are however several possible reasons why a certified organisation may not appear on the register and therefore the recipient should not reject the certificate without further discussion with the issuing conformity assessment body (CAB). If you are unable to find a particular certificate holder in the database then you should contact the CAB who issued the certificate to confirm its validity.

The primary purpose of IAF is to establish Multilateral Recognition Arrangements (MLA) between its accreditation body members in order to contribute to the freedom of world trade by eliminating technical barriers to trade. The purpose of the MLA is to allow accreditations and the certificates issued by certification/registration bodies accredited by members of the MLA to be recognised by the other members of the MLA. The objective is that the MLA will cover all accreditation bodies in all countries in the world, thus eliminating the need for suppliers of products or services to be certified in each country where they sell their products or services (certified once accepted everywhere).
